Beach Sensory Bin
Toddlers beach sensory bin activity
Beach sensory week! Today we had a “beach day” which included actual sand from a nearby beach, toys, water, bubbles and of course some surf rock music! My daughter loved exploring textures and using rich language to describe the sensory experiences she was having. Not pictured: large blue plastic bowl full of water and magnetic plastic fish for kiddos to “fish” with rods from ”village”- great for fine motor and language development in partner play
Materials:
- Plastic container
- Fish figures
- Sand and blue plastic bag
- Sea shells
Beach Sensory Table
Children use their senses to explore and learn about the world. To encourage these explorations, we fill the sensory table with substances and materials for children to touch, smell, see, and hear.
